The goal of the Active Surveillance Program is to avoid treatment completely, or at least to avoid treatment (and more importantly, the side effects of treatment) for as many years as possible.
If treatment of your prostate cancer becomes necessary, our group utilizes the most up to date and minimally invasive techniques (including robotic / da Vinci prostate surgery and cryoablation) to help ensure successful outcomes while minimizing the impact on urinary and sexual function.
Doctors with expertise in incontinence, bladder suspension ("bladder lift") and sling procedures, kidney stones, no needle no scalpel vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, laparoscopy and laparoscopic kidney and prostate surgery, prostate diseases including cancer and enlarged prostate, cryoablation (or cryotherapy) of prostate and kidney, robotic (da Vinci) prostate surgery
